Your account menu separates personal profile information, company information, appearance settings, and password security. Open your name in the top-right corner to reach Profile or Password.
Update your personal profile
Open Account → Profile and choose the Profile tab. Depending on your account, you can update:
- First, middle, and last name
- Sign-in and business email addresses
- Mobile and other phone numbers
- Mailing address
- City, state, and ZIP code
- PTIN when applicable
Save and wait for the success message before leaving the page.
Changing profile data here updates your own account. To change another person’s roles, offices, or access, use the Users page if your role allows it.
Update company information
Authorized users see a Company tab in Profile. It contains the company name and billing address fields.
The company address is used to prefill future subscription checkouts and appears in Billing Information. If the address shown during checkout is wrong, correct it here or enter the correct address in the payment form. See Billing and subscription.
If the Company tab does not appear, you do not have access to company-level profile settings.
Choose light or dark mode
Open the Settings tab in Profile and choose the theme you prefer. You can also switch themes from the menu under your name.
The setting is saved to your account. If the page does not immediately match the selection, refresh once after the save completes.
Change your password
- Open your name menu and choose Password.
- Enter your Current Password.
- Enter a New Password with at least 8 characters.
- Repeat the new password exactly.
- Select Save.
Use the eye button beside a password field to briefly show or hide what you typed. Do this only when no one else can see your screen.
If you forgot your password
From the sign-in page, use Forgot Password instead of the in-account Password page. Enter the email address connected to your Simple-C account and follow the reset instructions sent to you.
If the message does not arrive:
- Check spam or junk folders.
- Confirm you entered the same email used to sign in.
- Ask your administrator whether your account email changed or access was removed.
- Contact support without sending your current or proposed password.
Account security practices
- Use a unique password that you do not reuse on other services.
- Never share your password by email or support ticket.
- Sign out on shared computers.
- Keep your sign-in email and mobile number current.
- Ask an administrator to deactivate users who no longer need access.
- Review office and role assignments in Users after staffing changes.
Simple-C support should never need your full password, full card number, or CVC to help with an account issue.
