Notifications and support

Read account notifications and send a useful support ticket with safe, relevant attachments.

Simple-C provides two ways to stay informed and get help: the Notification Center for messages from Simple-C and Submit Ticket for application or billing issues.

Read notifications

Select the mail icon in the header. A badge shows how many unread notifications are waiting.

The Notification Center separates:

  • Unread Notifications
  • Read Notifications
  • A message panel that displays the selected notification

Select a notification title to read the full message. Opening an unread notification marks it as read and moves it to the read list.

If the badge does not clear immediately, refresh the page after opening the unread messages.

Open the Knowledge Base

Select the help icon in the header to open this Knowledge Base in a new tab. Search the left menu by feature or task before creating a ticket; many setup and reporting questions have a step-by-step guide.

Submit a support ticket

On larger screens, select Submit Ticket in the header.

  1. Choose Application issue or Billing issue.
  2. Enter a short, specific Subject.
  3. Describe what happened, what you expected, and the steps that led to the problem.
  4. Add relevant attachments if they help explain the issue.
  5. Submit and wait for the confirmation message.

The description can contain up to 5,000 characters. Include the business name, page, selected year, and approximate time of the issue when relevant.

Add safe attachments

You can attach up to 5 files, with a maximum of 10 MB per file. Supported formats include common images, PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, and text files.

Useful attachments include:

  • A screenshot of the complete error message
  • A redacted sample statement that reproduces an import issue
  • A CSV showing the problematic column layout
  • A report export that demonstrates an unexpected total

Remove or cover information support does not need. Never attach passwords, CVCs, full card numbers, complete bank account numbers, or unredacted identity documents unless Simple-C has provided a specifically approved secure process.

Write a ticket that is easy to resolve

Use this structure:

  1. Page: where the issue occurred.
  2. Context: business, bank, year, or Tax File involved.
  3. Action: what you clicked or entered.
  4. Result: the exact error or unexpected behavior.
  5. Expected: what you thought should happen.
  6. Frequency: once, sometimes, or every attempt.

Avoid subjects such as “Help” or “Not working.” A subject like “PDF statement remains pending after upload” lets support route the ticket more quickly.

Other ways to reach support

If the in-app ticket control is not visible on your screen, use the Simple-C support portal. For account changes, do not send credentials or sensitive payment data in an ordinary email.
